These days, the 13th, 14th and 15th of December, our sales technician D. Miguel Tena Bagán from Talleres Cortés, SL will be exhibiting at ASIA CERAMICS held at Ahmedabad in the India Guarajat province.

During these days, all visitors would be able to see firsthand the new innovations in precision moulds that Talleres Cortés are constantly developing for the last 60 years. Have special interest to all our friends and customers all the new designs in relief for all types of ceramic tile formats.

India is one of the world‘s most important countries in ceramic production and consumption. As the world’s second largest country in population, Indian ceramic market owns huge domestic demand, which indeed push forward the rapid development of Indian ceramic industry so as to make India ranked as the third largest country in production and consumption of ceramic tiles in the world.

Statistics show that India‘s ceramic tiles volume has been increased from 390 million up to 490 million in 2009 with the growth rate of 25.6%. In 2010, India’s total ceramic production accounted as 6% of global output with its total volume reaching to 550 million with the year-on-year growth rate of 12.2%. From the year of 2005 to 2009, India‘s ceramic consumption growth rate exceeds 10%, in which 22.6% in 2009. In 2010, India’s ceramic tiles consumption has been increased from 494 million to 557 million with its growth rate of 12.7% as compared to the previous year.
