Iran has reached to the seventh place in exporting tiles and ceramics in the world.

The Persian country has exported more than half a million dollars of tiles and ceramics in 2012, showing a growth of 37 percent.

The director of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, Hamid Safdel, said last 18th June that the Iranian tile presence in European markets indicates the power of competition and diversity in the production of ceramics in the Persian country.

Besides the celebration of the twenty-first international fair of tiles and ceramics, Persian official added that last year, Iran produced 455 million square meters of the abovementioned products.
