Ana Barrachina, collaborator at Talleres Cortés SL, received first prize in the Cevisama Ceramic Design Lab contest. Congratulations Ana !!
Ceramic Design Competition and Bathroom Design from the Cevisama Lab already have a winning year. The jury chose at Feria Valencia the best projects, recognizing “the effort and creativity” of young students. Mariano Bolant, president of the College of Architects of Valencia; journalist and interior designer Gracia Cardona; designer Pedro Ochando and César Pérez, product manager of the firm Pamesa, were responsible for selecting projects.
In Category A, corresponding to ‘semi dry formed ceramic by pressing’, the jury decided to award first prize ex aequo Ana Barrachina, from the High School of Ceramics of l’Alcora for her “Artume” project, and Pilar Sotillo also from the High School of Ceramics l’Alcora, for her proposal “Sat-Elit”. They are, in both cases, “ingenious ceramic solutions for wall coverings based digital printing technology”.
Selected works and winners were able to see over the course of Cevisama, the great international event for the ceramic industry, natural stone and bathroom, which was held from 9 to 13 February at Feria Valencia.
Ana Barrachina collaborates with Talleres Cortés, elaborating new designs for tiles with reliefs for inkjet systems.
From Talleres Cortés S.L. we celebrate these new talents, able to imagine and to transfer the most beautiful designs applied to the world of tile and ceramic surfaces. On our website www.designscortes.com, you can enjoy all our designs immediately and online.
